We Found Part Of "Bobbit" LOL!

It was a crazy morning, first we got up and ran over to mom's house to pick up the lawnmower, you see we need two mowers to cut our lawn and even with two it still takes 1 hour and 15 minutes to do so. After that, we came inside for a break and a snack and received a call from cousin Steve -- SURE we'll go detecting with you. First we all had to do some yard work, so it wasn't until closer to 3:30pm before we had a chance to get out there.

So the contest was on, who would find the first penny.

Well, after a while, Bob and I had collected four pennies and we were pretty proud of ourselves. Bob met up with Steve as he and Nadine were around the other side of the house and quickly found out we were losing as they had located a dime. LOL

MUST FIND MORE PENNIES! We kept going and found nail after nail after nail. You see, I lowered the settings on the detector to grab any signal I could get, I didn't want to pass up anything good. lol We're still learning the detector.

We had a couple of breaks in between.

I kept on going, I wasn't going to let them win. I had an okay signal and Bob was helping go through the plug and kept finding nails and was going to give up to take a break, I went over the plug one more time and there was still a solid signal, I ripped apart the plug and found my own dime. WOOHOO! We were ahead. I was having way too much fun.

Don't ask. LMAO! Nadine didn't know I was doing this. heehee! She was busy checking out the hole as she found something.


So by the end of the day, we had scored 23 cents and they had found 10 cents.

We had also located a spoon (which looks similar to this one we found on own own property) on the back it says :Victoria Silver O.S. Co.: but is in bad shape, there is a big crack across the spoon part, we found another jingle bell, as I said 23 cents in change, 3 more dog tags (1972, 1973, 1943), a chain, some sort of knobby thing, a button, a weird thing we aren't sure what it is that has dots all over it, a rusted pocket knife.... and......

Well, as you can imagine, laughter errupted when Bob was digging and pulls this out and yells "I found dick" and then shortly after Steve yells "I found rusty balls" and then Nadine yells out "wanna screw? I found a screw". (GIGGLE)
